Forty West Tennis Club has proudly served the Catonsville, Maryland area for over forty years. Since 1980, we have offered tennis, racquetball, and personal training all year long. Our indoor courts are air-conditioned, clean, and well-maintained. Our staff is professional, attentive, courteous, and the area's top tennis and racquet professionals. We have everything a tennis or racquetball lover needs. From our clubhouse to our pro shop, we have all of your tennis and racquetball needs taken care of. What amenities does Forty West Tennis Club have? 

 

In addition to our private tennis and racquetball courts, our amenities include a clubhouse, locker rooms, showers, saunas, Forty-Love Pro Shop, pickleball socials, and group and private lessons from professionals. Your comfort is taken care of at our clubhouse, a great place to relax and have a snack. We also have lounges and locker rooms for men and women, where you can change, shower, or sauna. At our Forty-Love Pro Shop, you can dress in the latest fashions that suit your style on the court with our wide selection of tennis gear. How can I book a court at Forty West Tennis Club? 

 

You can book a court at our club by filling out our Block Time Request Form, visiting us at the club. When you do advanced booking, you save $1 per hour. We also offer walk-on rates with a $2 discount rate Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.- 5 p.m. Our normal rates are as follows: 

Tennis Monday - Friday:

• 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. $36

• 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. $39

Tennis Saturday - Sunday: 

• 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. $39

Racquetball Monday- Sunday:

• 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. $14

• 5 p.m. -10 p.m. $18

Our racquetball only monthly All-U-Can option is a great way to save money if you play often. If you play more than four times a month, we recommend purchasing the unlimited racquetball option at $65 a month.

 

Do you charge guest fees? 

 

For random play, members may bring a guest and pay a guest fee of $8. For advance block time substitutions, non-members pay a guest fee of $6. Guest play is limited to three times per non-member. After three visits, non-members will be required to purchase a membership.  All members must check-in at the front desk before play. 

 

Can I host my party at Forty West Tennis Club? 

 

Yes! We encourage you to have fun together! We offer the ability to book parties at Forty West Tennis Club on Saturdays from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The cost is $360 plus a 10% Maryland amusement tax. All our courts are available to book for parties. Please ask us about our party options and if you have any questions. 

 

How much does it cost to become a member? 

 

When you join Forty West Racquet Club, you are gaining access to private tennis and racquetball courts and all of our amenities. You are also gaining access to unlimited amounts of fun on the courts with your family and friends. At Forty West Racquet Club, you’ll have the opportunity to raise your game and challenge yourself by participating in our many leagues, both on weekdays and weekends. Our clinics and private lessons help fine-tune your skills and help you find new inspiration from our encouraging and expert instruction provided by our staff of professionals. • Individual - $175

• Family - $320

• Junior - $105

• Senior - $160

• Police/Firefighter - $130

Do you charge cancellation fees? 

 

A twenty-four hour notice is required to cancel random court time without a fee. 

 

Do you host pickleball leagues? 

 

Yes! Join us on Friday nights from 9:30 - 10:30 p.m. for pickleball on eight courts. All levels of play are welcome and loaner paddles are available and professional instruction is offered. Why should I enroll my child in your junior tennis programs? 

 

We believe that if your child or teen loves tennis that you should support them as much as you can. One way to support your child is to enroll them in a junior tennis program so they can continue to improve their skills, learn about the sport, and make life-long friends with similar interests. Our junior tennis program will keep your kids fit, teach them how to handle both victory and loss, teach social skills and good sportsmanship, and most importantly, your kids will have tons of fun!
